WIPs

It turns out I don't actually have the time to draw for myself this month like I had hoped but I'll be damned if I'm not going to try and cram as much as I can in between homework and commissions.

Not a WIP, but still awesome. I some how found the time to knock out some art cards of my personal characters. These are for sale on Deviantart. First come first serve.
Some progress from my last post here! Again this is Sue Denim and Dee Plume of the Euro-Electro band, Robots in Disguise. Since I posted the inks, I've fixed some anatomy errors and added color. I need to add some graphics and a logo to it. I'm going for a poster type look. Hopefully I find time to finish it soon.
I'm gonna try to scan my progress on this so I can show people my process. People like that kind of thing. Group shot of Izzy, Grenadine and Benji. Started out as a really messy rough sketch in my sketchbook. Focusing mostly on their gesture first and adding the characters over that.
The sketch was waaaay messier than my usual work so I busted out the lightbox and transfered my sketch over to a clean sheet of cardstock. Once I had some clean pencils changing some minor details, I inked right on top of the new sketch, erasing it with a white pencil. It's ready for coloring, which I'll hopefully remember the scan the stages.
